TRATECH Conference
TRATECH, the annual technical conference organized by the Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA), is a premier event for high-power rocketry enthusiasts worldwide. Held alongside the LDRS event, TRATECH provides a dedicated platform to share knowledge, explore advanced topics, and foster innovation within the rocketry community.
Since its launch in 2021, TRATECH has become a pivotal gathering featuring expert presentations that deliver valuable insights and practical tools to help attendees elevate their rocketry skills.
The TRATECH Committee is thrilled to announce the kickoff of TRATECH 2025, happening during LDRS-43 in Helm, California. TRATech will take place in the evenings of May 15-16, 2025. We’re seeking dynamic presenters to share their expertise, innovations, and experiences with the rocketry community.
This is your opportunity to educate, inspire, and connect with fellow rocketry enthusiasts on topics that drive advancements in the exciting world of high-power rocketry.

We invite presentations on topics that advance the science, engineering, and experience of rocketry, including but not limited to:
- Airframe Design & Construction
- Electronics and Avionics
- Flight Simulations
- Motor Design & Propellant Processing
- Static Testing & Data Analysis
- Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Techniques
- Recovery Systems and Innovations
- Club Management & Growth
- Website Development for Clubs/Organizations
- Launch Site Discovery & FAA Coordination
- Tripoli and High-Power Rocketry History
- Innovative or Out-of-the-Box Rocketry-Related Topics
Presenter Submission Guidelines
If you’re passionate about rocketry and have knowledge to share, we’d love to hear from you! Please submit the following details to the TRATECH Committee:
- Presenter Name and Contact Information (email and phone number)
- Presentation Title and a 1-2 paragraph summary of your topic
- A short bio highlighting your rocketry experience and relevant background
- A photograph of yourself
