We are excited to share that Adrian Adamson(, from Lakewood, CO, established a new altitude record on 10/15/2023. Adrian's rocket soared to an impressive 10,136 feet in the Single-Stage F class at the Hartsel, CO launch site.
Adrian's record-setting flight was made possible by the F10 motor, generating a total impulse of 74 Ns. The use of the Featherweight Tracker electronics facilitated seamless tracking and recovery of the scratch-built rocket named "Half Fast," designed specifically for this record attempt. Notably, the onboard GPS tracker recorded the flight's ascent to 10,136 feet AGL, demonstrating the rocket's remarkable performance.
This extraordinary accomplishment was witnessed by John Jamieson (TRA 04920) and Andrew Meteer (TRA #2305).
