The Skippy Cup

The idea for this contest originated during LDRS 42 in Potter, NY in 2024. Recognizing the lack of formal TRA contests, Gerald Meux ("Skippy"), along with other members, proposed this competition. The name "Skippy Cup" is a playful reference to Gerald's nickname, inspired by his fondness for Skippy peanut butter. Last year was the first year of the contest and was met with great success. Since the top projected altitude was not met, let’s do the contest the same way for 2026. Thank you to the Contest and Records Committee, our sponsors, Indiana Rocketry for hosting LDRS, and all participants!
