The Tripoli Board of Directors is pleased to announce that beginning March 1st, eligible prefectures can apply for the 2024 Prefecture Improvement Plan (PIP). This is a grant program that prefectures can use to improve the flying environment for Tripoli Rocketry Association members.

We want to enable your prefecture to purchase equipment, supplies, outreach, and marketing materials, etc. that will enhance your prefecture, environment and/ or flying field. Eligible prefectures will be able to apply for a grant of up to $250 with the total program payout not to exceed $20,000. Grants will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis until the allotted $20,000 is awarded.

For a Prefecture to be eligible for the 2024 PIP Grant these three items must be done:

1. The 2024 Prefecture Information form must have been completed and the $10 Annual Prefecture Dues must have been paid by December 31, 2023.
   
   
2. All receipts from previous years PIP Grants must have been received by the Tripoli Treasurer.
   
   
3. All requests must be submitted by November 30, 2024

Important Update: As of July 28, 2022 PayPal has removed the ability to send funds from a PayPal Business Account using the Friends and Family option. We are still able to send PIP funds using PayPal, but the payment will be reduced by the current applicable fees.
