Design the Card Contest

Have you ever taken a picture you thought would make a great photo for the card? Now's your opportunity to see that happen!

Each year, members are invited to submit one image for consideration as the following year’s Tripoli membership card photo. Tripoli Headquarters will review all submissions and select the winning photograph. The selected image will be used as the updated membership card photo at the beginning of the next year.

• Each Tripoli member may submit one (1) photograph for consideration. Only the first photograph submitted will be reviewed. Any additional submissions will be discarded.
  
  
• You must be a Tripoli member in good standing at the time of submission.
  
  
• Submissions are accepted each year from September 1 through November 30.
  
  
• The winning photograph will be used as the standard (non-custom) membership card photo for the following calendar year. The photographer will be credited on the Tripoli website. No other compensation will be provided.

Photo Guidelines

• Resolution matters. Please submit the original image file and do not crop, resize, or otherwise edit the photo prior to submission. Images intended for web use are usually too low resolution for card printing, and cropping can create layout issues.
  
  
• The Tripoli card is wider than it is tall, so landscape photos generally work best. Portrait-oriented photos are less likely to be selected.
  
  
• Keep in mind the card includes text over part of the image. Photos that require the entire image to be unobstructed to “make sense” are not ideal candidates.
