The Tripoli Rocketry Association is pleased to welcome our newest prefecture, Tripoli Central Indiana, officially designated Tripoli 183 and organized by the Rocketeers of Central Indiana (ROCI) in Muncie, Indiana.
Tripoli Central Indiana launches from the International Aeromodeling Center, providing flyers with dedicated facilities, convenient parking, and an extended launch season. Its central location will help fill an important regional need by giving Tripoli members greater access to high-power launches and Level 1 and Level 2 certification opportunities.
The new prefecture is led by Prefect Justin Simpkins, TRA Level 3, with Allan Howard, TRA Level 3, serving as Secretary. Their experienced team has a strong record of organizing launches, supporting student teams, hosting national events, and introducing children and families to rocketry.
Tripoli Central Indiana hopes to make high-power rocketry more accessible throughout the region while becoming a destination for both new and experienced flyers.
