While most Tripoli launch activities are performed using commercially manufactured motors. Many hobbyists also enjoy the design and construction of their own motors, for personal usage. The Tripoli Research rules cover organization policies for the use of these motors. Each individual hobbyist is responsible for verifying their compliance with any local, state, and national regulations that may exist.
