Technical Advisory Panel (TAP)

The primary purpose of the Technical Advisory Panel is to supervise the L3 certification procedure for L2 certified Tripoli members, by providing sound technical advice and guidance to them during all stages of the L3 certification process. 

Only TAPs may approve of a candidate’s design, construction, and recovery, and only TAPs may sign the Tripoli L3 certification form. Members of the TAP are Senior Tripoli Members who have significant experience building and flying L3 impulse capable rockets and have proven their competency in the design, construction, pre-flight, flight, and safe recovery of high-power rockets. 

The TAP Manual describes the qualifications, procedures for selecting TAPs, TAPs' duties, and the procedure for removing TAPs.
